Nellie Killian 

Founder

Nellie has recently programmed series for Criterion Channel, British Film Institute, Museum of the Moving Image, and elsewhere. Previous curatorial roles include Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) (2011-2017) and Metrograph (2021-2022). Nellie currently works with the film marketing and design firm High Council, as a Contributing Editor at Film Comment, and is on the boards of Light Industry, Screen Slate, and San Francisco Cinematheque. Along with Michelle Materre, she won the 2017 Film Heritage Award from The National Society of Film Critics.

Ed Halter

Board Member

Critic and curator Ed Halter is a founder and director of Light Industry, a venue for cinema in all its forms. HIs writing has appeared in Artforum, Cinema Scope, frieze, Village Voice, and elsewhere. He has taught at Bard College since 2005, where he is currently Critic in Residence and faculty director of the Bard Meme Lab. Honors include a Creative Capital | Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant and the Thoma Foundation Arts Writing Award in Digital Art.

Casey Moore

Board Member

Casey began his career marketing the Criterion Collection before starting High Council, his own marketing and design agency for feature films. Clients include: National Geographic, MTV Documentary Films, Disney, Warner Brothers, Sideshow, HBO, and more. He is also a founder of Seattle’s Beacon Cinema, co-publishes the film magazine Bombast, and plays drums in a touring death metal band.
